09/26/2001 Entry: "9/26 Morning"

I have no will power. I didn't stay OP Monday or yesterday. I have such good intentions, but I'm starving lately! I do eat small meals often and try to keep my main meals under 6 points or so. But yesterday after I ate my 4 point can of soup, I was so hungry a few hours later and ended up making a turkey sandwich, which put me over my point limit. Some days I can stay OP without a problem and I feel so satisfied and then other days I am so hungry. I'm not even PMS'ing!! So I will try again today though I know I'm going to a friend's for supper. WW seems so easy on some days and other day I really struggle.

I am doing wonderful with my exercising at least. I am still so motivated and really enjoying my variety of videos and workouts. I had typed up a 2 week rotation for myself and will be changing my routine and adding on more time every 2 weeks or so. I'd like to be working out for 45 minutes 6 days a week until I go to Florida in December. After that I will probably work out 5 days a week and alternate between aerobics and weight lifting, but we'll see.

I hear you Leah. I went to Tim Horton's for soup yesterday for lunch. It sure doesn't stay with you very long!! I find a can of V-8 juice fills me up pretty good for a snack, and it's 0 points and counts as 2 veggie servings. Hang in there!

Hang in there Leah. You need to find a lot of low-point and 0-point snacks that you can eat in between meals so that you can bulk up on points for your main meals. I really think that might help you. I unfortunately hate most veggies, but I LOVE pickles and they're 0 points. So if I'm on a day I don't have the points, but am hungry, I eat a big pickle which helps fill me up. It sounds like you might just have to start planning out your menus a bit more. IE plot out the meals you'll have so you know how many points to allow for snacks. I mean there'll be exceptions, but it might help to do that for a week or two until you can get your hunger shifts more under control. Just a suggestion tho! Good luck.

Actually a can of V8 is 1pt. 0pts if you only drink 6oz, the can is 340ml = 1pt. I drink at least two a day :)

Leah, everyone goes through this! Just keep on trying and keep on working out, maybe raise your workouts a bit so you can get some more points to eat?

Thank you everyone for the helpful advice. I am going to find some 0-1 point snacks or foods that will tide me over between meals. I do love vegetables so I will need to eat more of them. I'm also slowly increasing my exercises so maybe I'll do it more quickly at least for my days off. That way I can bank those points!! :)
