09/03/2001 Entry: "9/03 Morning"
I had another weigh-in today and am down only 1 pound. I can tell I am gaining muscle though so I'm okay with that.
I'm still trying to find a workout routine that I like. I love my Timesaver Lifting Weights to Lose Weight video the best so far. It has 2 20 minute workouts on it, one for the upper and lower body each. Then there is the 7 minute ab workout at the end that I don't really care for but will do once my abs are stronger. I would do this one every day if I could but it requires a 36 hour break afterwards. I have a bunch of 10 minute and 8 minute workout videos that I really like too but it's hard to do more than one 10 minute segment per day because each one has a warm up and stretching which will waste my workout time. I'm going to try to vary my workout so I do 10 minutes of each tape. So I could do 10 minutes of the total body toning along with 10 minutes of the abs, thighs, buns, etc. I think I'm going to write out a schedule and try it that way. I want to exercise a minimum of 30 minutes per day unless I need a break then I'd at least like to exercise for 15 minutes on the elliptical machine.
As long as I have a variety of options to choose from, I'm good. :)

WOO you go girl! =) That's excellent. Every pound counts, and muscle helps you burn more calories so will help you lose more pounds later. Keep up the great work!

I think a one pound loss after a "bad" weekend of eating is awesome!
Keep experimenting with the workout until you find something you enjoy. That's your best chance of sticking with it, is if you like it.
