11/10/2001 Entry: "11/10 party"

Tomorrow is our Packer party. We are expecting around 15-20 people. It should be a lot of fun as we will be watching the game but also playing cards or board games. We have plenty of food and drink too. I'm just looking forward to relaxing with the girls.

Shawn and I have been working on the house all week. We finally have our stairway completed. The only thing left to do is to hang blinds which I hope to do next week. Then I will take some pictures. I am thrilled with how it turned out. Plus I spent the week hanging pictures in the bathroom upstairs that I took with my camera of my roses. They turned out so cool! I will get some pics of those too. The house is really looking nice and cozy, not to mention clean. I only have a few more things to do yet then I can relax for the rest of the day.

My trip to Florida is coming up really fast. We are leaving on November 28. We have decided to drive down there and make it a fun road trip, without any specific plans. So we have 4 days to get down there and can stop where and when we want. We are driving down with Shawn's sister, Beth, and her boyfriend, Mike. We have rented a caravan so we'll have plenty of room and it should be comfy. I'm really excited about it now. Plus we are going to the Packer game on Monday in Jacksonville, which is the reason for the entire trip. We'll be gone a total of 11 days or so.

I'm still exercising and watching what I eat, though not as strict as I should be. I am going to try to buckle down the next few weeks as I'd really like to lose another 6 pounds before the trip, or more. I'm still not smoking also, with the exception of any that I've borrowed when we go out. Life is good for the moment. :)
