I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet dog. Big hugs to you! I am so excited as I finally purchased the Hemera Photo Objects 50,000! At this point in time I have approximately zero images to use for my graphic designs so I can't wait. I don't really know what's going on, but I'll be thinking of you. I think most of us have been down similar roads before and it isn't easy, but you will make it. Men really are from Mars! Thank you, Gaile. I've sent you an email explaining the Pixelitas forum. :) I guess I didn't realize or remember how difficult July 4 is for me until I started hearing the fireworks. I knew I didn't want to go see the fireworks display because I get a little jumpy around loud noises. But I had no idea how nervous and upset I'd get until now. As I sit here in my home, I can here someone lighing off firecrackers. Each time ones goes off, I jump. The next thing I know, I am balling like a baby. I have heard of post traumatic stress syndrome but don't put too much stock in that. Perhaps there is some truth in it though as this is what it reminds me of. Whenever I hear any kind of sudden loud noise, it reminds me of some of the noises the tornado made. Plus I used to take Jesse to the fireworks every year, and it was one of his favorite holidays. He really enjoyed lighting sparklers. So that's where the tears come in. I have this horrible gut wrenching pain that I haven't felt for a long time. I'm going to have a good cry, and then get some more work done. I know I'll feel better once I release these feelings. Thanks Bev! Btw, can't remember if I told you I really like your new design.....very colorful!! It has been a long and exhausting week for me, emotionally. I better not share the details in case anyone is actually reading this, but I will say it's been very difficult to keep quiet. I know this won't make a lot of sense because I will not mention any names or what it involves, but I am going to express some of what I am feeling. You see I have met so many wonderful people in the 4 years I've been on the internet. I've made many new friends, some of who I keep in contact with over the phone. These are the types of people that make all the nasty emails, mean people, and takers worth it all. I have never seen such a show of selfishness in a long time. Some people, who I used to consider friends are spreading lies and rumors around the net about a situation that took place earlier this week. It really saddens me to see how some people can be so fooled by the actions of another person. If those defenders knew the full truth of what has gone on, they would not be defending her, that is a guarantee. Some are complaining that we shouldn't say anything about the situation while others complain because we don't say enough. You can't win. During this whole episode, a few of us had to listen to those defenders complain, accuse, belittle, deflame, and verbally attack us over and over again, without saying a word. So one night I finally spoke up and questioned someone as to why they were behaving this way. I was very sarcastic in my response, but enough is enough. I did not attack this person's character - I attacked their behavior....or more or less questioned their behavior in a very sarcastic way, which is very uncommon for me. This person was so flabbergasted (as they put it) that they felt the need to send vicious emails and threats to destroy us. Judging by this person's behavior, I would guess they have never had to deal with any type of conflict before since the reaction I received from my sarcastic comment was extremely overly exaggerated to the supposed offense. If I feel I am being attacked, I will defend myself. I am only human. I thank God for all the mature adults who can clearly see what is going on and who have faithfully showed their support. They realize there is no conspiracy and we aren't out to get anyone. Get real! If anyone knew anything about me at all, they would know I am honest, loyal, and compassionate. I have always tried to help others as much as I can. I don't initiate verbal confrontations, but if I am attacked, I will defend myself, period. Well, that's about all for now. I'm going to try and concentrate on the positive and leave this garbage where it belongs, in the trash.
